Master of Ceremonies: Andrew Luxen Andrew is my older brother who graduated from the University of Denver’s Law School in May! He is currently working for the Democratic Party in Denver. When Jay and I began talking about who we wanted to perform our ceremony, we couldn’t think of a better public speaker! Maid of Honor: Leigh Luxen Leigh is my little sister who is currently attending FRCC working on her business degree. Her reaction about our engagement was my favorite! I told her over the phone and Jay could hear her screaming from three rooms away! I’m so glad that she shares in our excitement and that she agreed to be my maid of honor!! Representing the Bride: Stacy Haddorff Stacy and I met in 9th grade at Lincoln Junior High. We were fast friends and we soon knew that we were best friend soul mates! She currently lives in Ashland, Oregon. We’ve been through thick and thin together and we’ve stayed best friends though we’ve lived thousands of miles apart since High School!! Representing the Bride: Jerod Clark Jerod and I met at a swing dance in my brother’s dorm. Jerod and I have made not one, but two moves together now (1st Missouri and now Arkansas) and we tease about where we’re going next. He currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas and is a TV reported for THV. He’s a great friend and my favorite Buffs fan!! Representing the Bride: Ty Tuff Ty and I lived in the same dorm our freshman year at CU. We weren’t really friends at first but the next year we had the same sign language class and became instant friends. He is currently studying avian biology at CU. He is my most adventurous friend and we’ve had some unbelievable adventures together!! Best Man: Derek McDaniel Derek sat down at my lunch table in highschool one day proclaiming that we would be good friends. I didn't know it at the time, but he was right. He currently lives in Springfield, Missouri with his dog Copper and works as the Vice President of business development for an upcoming video game company. Representing the Groom: Josh Drake Josh has been one of my best friends ever since we began working together as teenagers. Between then and now we've had a lot of good times. You can find Josh in Springfield, Missouri with his wife Pam, and his son Keegan where he works as a systems administrator. Representing the Groom: Shaina Darnell Shaina is the older of my two younger sisters who currently works as a pediatric nurse at Cox hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Being more alike than either of us would care to admit we've butted heads a lot growing up but I wouldn't change a thing about her. I'm extremely glad to have her standing up for me. Representing the Groom: Danielle Darnell Danielle is my baby sister, seen here on the verge of laughter while posing with her brother for a Kodak moment. Say fuzzy pickles Danielle! She currently lives in El Dorado Kansas where she works as a teller for Intrust Bank and attends class at Butler County Community College. The Ringbearer: Keegan Drake Keegan is the son of our friends Josh and Pam Drake from Springfield, Missouri. He is very much a ladies man, and totally in love with Vanessa. He enjoys coloring pictures and devouring everything in sight. He is arguably the cutest boy in the world. Flower Girl: Leena Siiteri Leena is Vanessa’s youngest girl cousin (out of 13!!) and the daughter of our wedding photographers; Chris and Darcie Siiteri. She is eight years old and will begin third grade this fall. We know she will bring an increased energy and new level of fun to our ceremony!
