The Groom James Darnell Hello everyone! Please allow me a moment to introduce myself for those of you that don't know me yet. I was born on April 27th, 1979 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in the small town of Clinton Missouri. In the years following, I spent my days playing baseball, going camping with my boy scout troop, fishing and hunting with my dad, helping my grandparents on the farm, and riding my bike almost everywhere I went. I was, by all definitions, a small town country boy, and I guess I still am. Nowadays I'm employed as a computer programmer for Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas where, in my spare time, I also work as a freelance concept artist and website designer. I met Vanessa at the end of October in 2005 while the two of us were out enjoying Springfield’s annual Halloween pub crawl. From the moment I first met Vanessa I knew she was unlike anyone I'd ever met in my entire life. She had an aura about her that was refreshingly up-front, honest and confident yet sweet and considerate at the same time. Needless to say I was instantly intrigued and had to get to know her better. Now here we are, almost a year later planning our wedding and I can safely say there is no place I'd rather be. She is the love of my life; someone who loves and accepts me for who I am, faults and all, and my very best friend.
