The Bride Vanessa Luxen Hi everybody! Here’s a little bit about me for those of you who I have not met. I was born in Dallas, Texas on September 2, 1980. I enjoyed a busy childhood filled with dance classes, piano lesions, softball games and girl scout events. Just before my 15th birthday, this big city Texan found herself moving to Fort Collins, Colorado. I spent my high school years in Fort Collins and then moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado. After four years in Boulder I was ready for something different and decided to move to Springfield, Missouri to attend Missouri State University to obtain my doctorate in Audiology. In my third year of graduate school, my girlfriends and I decided to take a brake from studying and go out for the annual Springfield Halloween Pub Crawl. I literally "ran into Jay" on the sidewalk, we started talking and laughing and really haven’t ever quit! He makes me laugh and from our first date on he has been up for anything I come up with! When I decided that I would accept a position at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital for my 4th year internship he said that he would love to come with me and our adventure together truly began!! I’m not sure where our path will lead us, but I feel comforted in the fact that I will have Jay with me along the way!!
